Contribute
We invite researchers to submit two-page extended abstracts describing their research contributions in the field of space robotics. We particularly welcome submissions addressing experimental validation of space robotics technologies and novel approaches to challenges in space exploration.
Topics considered at this venue include:
- Autonomous guidance, navigation, & control for space robotics
- Machine learning and artificial intelligence applications for planetary robotic exploration
- Surface mobility and exploration
- Aerial space robotics
- In-space assembly and manufacturing
- Satellite formation-flying and swarms
- Space logistics
- Manipulation in microgravity environments
- Sample collection and handling
- Human-robot interaction for space missions
Submission Instructions
Submissions will be selected based upon their technical merit and innovation, relevance to space robotics, clarity of presentation, and potential impact on the field.
- Paper should be two pages long (excluding acknowledgements, references, and appendix).
- Papers should be submitted on OpenReview and the deadline is May 2 11:59PM anywhere-on-Earth.
- Submissions should follow the RSS 2025 paper format.
- Reviews will single-blind.
- Accepted papers will be presented as posters.
- Stellar submissions will be selected for short lighting talk presentations; additionally, submitters may indicate if they would like to be considered for a best student paper award.
